The French Bulldog has become one of the world's most popular breeds in recent years. Its small size and affectionate character make it a common choice for apartment living.
Character and temperament
Cheerful, curious and people-focused. It loves being with its family and dislikes being alone for long. It can be stubborn at times; short, fun, reward-based training works best.
Exercise and mental needs
It has moderate exercise needs: short, regular walks and indoor play are usually enough. As a flat-faced breed, it's important to avoid intense exercise in hot weather and to move walks to cooler times of day.
Coat care
The coat is short and fine; weekly brushing is enough. Keeping the facial folds clean and dry is part of the grooming routine.
