Birth – 6 monthsIn their first months rabbits grow fast, explore everything and lay the foundation of their relationship with people. A hay-first diet and calm introductions are the priorities of this stage.

6 months – 1 yearsBetween 6 months and 1 year, hormones can make rabbits seem more independent, territorial or grumpy. Patience, a consistent routine and plenty of space make the transition easier.

Adult
1 years – 5 yearsBetween 1 and 5 years, a rabbit's personality settles and routines and bonds are at their most rewarding. The right diet, daily exercise and companionship are the foundation of these years.

Senior
5 years and olderMany rabbits enjoy long, happy years after the age of five. Easy access, soft flooring, grooming support and more frequent veterinary check-ups make this stage more comfortable.
